Transgender Surgeries Officially Banned in Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a bill that has unanimously passed both houses of Parliament to ban gender-transition surgeries. This bill bans “medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person” physically as well as on any official documentation.
