THE US house of representatives has passed a bill yesterday that will provide for $14.3 billion in aid to Israel. This bill will be offset by a cut in IRS funding. However, the White House has already indicated that President Biden will veto the bill if it comes across his desk, citing that he would not sign a stand-alone Israel aid bill. Meanwhile, the Senate has been pushing for a different aid bill that would not only send aid to Israel, but also to Ukraine and provide for US border security measures.
