Excuses, Excuses

1 Corinthians 1:27–29 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

In life, we often feel inadequate, unworthy, or simply not good enough to fulfill the tasks God sets before us. But remember this: God uses the weak to do His will, for therein He gets the glory. This profound truth is beautifully illustrated in the story of Moses.

Moses, chosen by God to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, was full of excuses. He doubted his abilities, questioned his worth, and feared rejection. Yet, God did not deny Moses’ weaknesses. Instead, He assured Moses that He would be with him, guiding his words and actions.

Our limitations are not obstacles but opportunities for God’s power to shine through us.
