The Joy of Serving

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Remarkably, Jesus spoke these words the night before His crucifixion, offering comfort and joy to His disciples despite knowing what lay ahead.

Jesus compared our relationship with God to a vine and its branches, emphasizing the importance of abiding in Him. He spoke of successful service, pruning for productivity, answered prayer, and glorifying God through fruitfulness. These things bring great joy.

As we serve God, we can experience true joy. Even in life’s challenges, we can find joy knowing that God is working through us. Let us take these words to heart, finding purpose and joy in our service to God.
