This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Cape Baptist Church/True Hope Media collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.truehopemedia.come website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Cape Baptist Church.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, including, but not limited to, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. Radio Stream

When connecting to our radio stream, your IP address will be sent to our radio service provider in order for us to track listening trends and provide licensing bodies with royalty reports. Once our service provider receives your IP it is immediately anonymized, deleted and becomes untraceable. This data is never sold on or passed to other companies. 

For iOS Apps

The True Hope Media iOS App does not collect any user data when installed or launched on your device.

For Android Apps

The True Hope Media Android App does not collect any user data during use. In order to provide audio control during Phone App use, the App will monitor the ‘state’ of the phone App (Idle, in call, call ended) if applicable on your device. At no point will the App be able to listen in or derive phone numbers or data.

The Android App also requires access to local storage. This is to store its configuration for faster launch times.

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as, but not limited to, sending out advertisements, newsletters or surveys. Third Party Credit Card Processing

We do use a third party credit card processing company to process online donations. The transaction is completely processed on their website and any data retention would be subject to their retention policy.

Once a transaction has been made our administrator does receive an email indicating the transaction has processed. Your name, address, phone number, donation amount, etc. are visible in this email but only the last four digits of your credit card are included in this email. The email is sent for administrator notification and financial recording purposes.

Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

How long we retain your data

If you fill out a contact or event registration form on our website, your personally identifiable information may be retained indefinitely. The reason we keep this information is to better assist you in future registrations or to contact you in regards to your requests, or the current event that you registered yourself our your child(ren) for. Also, we use this information to contact you for future events hosted by Cape Baptist Church that would be relevant to you. Site administrators do have access and can edit, view, delete, etc. your personal information.

Analytics records are stored by Google Analytics or radio.co on their servers and the data storage of your use on our site would be subject to their storage policies. Analytics records are not the same as the data that you enter in any contact form on www.capebaptist.org. Analytics data is, but not limited to, User location, page views, device information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, or filled out any type of contact form you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us provided the information has not been deleted already. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Any donation given to the Cape Baptist Church is non-refundable.

Pursuant to Internal Revenue Code requirements for substantiation of charitable contributions, no goods or services are provided in return for Tax Deductible contributions.
