A field at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda was filled with American flags on Friday. One thousand fifty flags stand in what is now called the “Healing Field of Honor,” honoring and thanking our veterans who so bravely served our country. The field will be open from 9am-6pm through Sunday, and Taps will be played at 5pm each day.
